"Man Cave" Duck Commander® Decorative Tile by Candice Windham

Man Cave Decorative Tile
Designed by Candice Windham

Nothing says manly man more than Duck Commander® images and sayings.

Here’s an easy project using KellyCraft’s™ Duck Commander® Stamps, Stazon Ink and Kool Tak Artist’s Tape. It’s quick, but looks like you spent all day on it. The best part: It’s a double duty project. It can be placed on a small easel for pure decorativeness or placed next to his manly man recliner as a coaster to hold a man-sized drink.

Make it for your favorite guy’s man cave. He’ll love you for it.

Supplies

KellyCraft™- Get-it-Straight™ Laser Square and Multi-Mat™
                     - Duck Commander® Stamp Set #2
6” unglazed tile (3)
Cork, 5 ½’ x 5 ½”
Krylon Triple Thick Sealer
Stazon Inks, Black, Olive Green, Mustard, Rusty Brown, Saddle Brown
Woodgrain background stamp (Stampin’ Up)
Swirl Stamp (Magenta)
Artist’s Tape (Kool Tak)
Sponges

Instructions

1. Place two 6” tiles along the edge of the KellyCraft™ Multi-Mat™ to raise the height of the Get-it-Straight™Laser Square and place the Laser Square in place.

2. Place the tile in the corner, set the KellyCraft Get-it-Straight Laser at 4 ¼ ” from the bottom of the tile and attach the Artist’s Tape horizontally. Turn the tile 90° and repeat. Press the tape edges down well.

3. Sponge Stazon onto the tile, beginning with Mustard and Deep Rust and finishing with Olive
Green. Repeat until you are satisfied with the color.

4. Cover the areas you don’t want to stamp with sticky notes and
stamp the woodgrain and swirls with Saddle Brown and the Duck Commander stamps with Jet Black. Allow all to dry and then remove the Artist’s Tape and apply Timber brown Stazon to the edges with a sponge.

5. Glue cork to the back of the tile.

6. Lightly spray two coats of Kryon Triple-Thick Sealer to the front
of the tile, allowing it to dry between coats.

Duck Commander® Ornaments by Cindi McGee

Autumn is upon us and the holidays are fast approaching.  Stores are beginning to clearance he autumn decorations and craft items, and Christmas ornaments and decorations are starting to appear.....

Why not make some special ornaments this year for someone who loves the Robertson family, duck hunting, being outdoors, or everything Duck Commander®?

Cindi McGee made these fun ornaments with Makin's Clay® so they are durable for use year after year.

She rolled Natural Makin's Clay® thin, then stamped the Duck Commander® images with black permanent ink.  Star and duck cookie cutters were used to cut around the stamped images.  She made holes in the top of each while the clay was still fresh with a straw.   Once the clay had dried for 24 hours, Cindi added some DecoArt® Gold Metallic Lustre® to the edges of each ornament, and a light layer over the stamped front of the duck ornament.    She added some strips of cotton fabric dyed with Rit® Dye and some jute twine to hang her ornaments.

You can find our entire line of Duck Commander® ornaments here on our site.

You're Classic

by Martha Lucia Gomez

Hello everyone, Martha Lucia here to share with you my card using the Jimbo Lojik Stamp Set A and of course my KellyCraft™ Get-It-Straight™ Laser Square and Multi-Mat™. Ireally love to use these in all my creations. I am a "consagrate" cardmaker and for me it is the best tool. Supplies:
  • KellyCraft™ Get-It-Straight™ Laser Square and Multi-Mat™
  • Jimbo Logik Stamp Set A
  • Whisper White Card Stock
  • Washi Tape in different colors
  • Summer Silhouettes Stamp Set by Stampin Up
  • Acrylic Block
  • Staz On Jet Black Ink
  • Memento Tuxedo Black Ink
  • Stampin Write Marker Black
  • Rhinestones
  • Dimensionals
Instructions:

Using the Whisper White card stock cut the card base and two additional pieces. One of 3-1/"x4-3/4" and other of 3"x4-1/4". Take the small piece and the washi tape and start to cut a strip pieces to create a background. Align all the pieces using the KellyCraft™ Get-It-Straight™ Laser Square and Multi-Mat™.

Stamp an image over the washi tape using Staz On Jet Black Ink. Don't worry if some of your washi tape are not covered for the ink, you can fixed later.  Stamp the gretting using Memento Tuxedo Black Ink or if you want you can use the same Staz On.

Just turn around the card stock and align the stamp using the KellyCraft™ Get-It-Straight™ Laser Square. To fixed the errors over the washi tape you can use a black write marker.

Add the layers to the card from using dimensionals.Add some basic rhinestones to finish it off.

Country Note Card Set by Steph Ackerman

Country Note Card Set
Designed by Steph Ackerman

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here again combining some fun stamps from Jimbo Lojik.   I know some people still send handwritten notes so I created a boxed card set.

Supplies:

KellyCraft™ Jimbo Lojik™ Stamps - Sets A, B and C
Clearsnap Ink
Bazzill cardstock
DCWV pattern paper
May Arts Ribbon

I found this fun DCWV pattern paper and knew it would work well with these stamps.

I fussy cut a lot of elements then inked them with brown ink.  I created a card by assembling all the elements on a kraft card base.   "Country Girl" was stamped from Jimbo Lojik™ Set B and added atop the tag with foam adhesives.

I fussy cut the apple and fence post, inked them and reassembled them on the card.  "You're Classic" was stamped from Jimbo Lojik™ Set A and added  to the card with foam adhesives.

Lastly, I fussy cut all the elements for this card and reassembled them on a kraft background.  "This oughta jar your preserves!" was stamped from Jimbo Lojik™ Set C and added to the card with foam adhesives.

And who wouldn't love a gift set?  I placed the cards and envelopes in a small box and tied brown ribbon around it.  "You're Classic" from Jimbo Lojik™ Set A was stamped and tied to the ribbon.

Do you know someone who would love to receive a handmade set of cards?

Thanks for stopping by today.

Steph

Happy Harvest Layout by Debbie Sherman

Creative Team Member Debbie Sherman's style is dimensional, with lots of layers, and very few "straight lines" - however, she still finds her Get-it-Straight™ Laser Square very useful in aligning her elements - like the photo and title on this pretty harvest page!  Find Debbie's project post here on her blog.

Good Boots Ain't Cheap Card by Steph Ackerman

Good Boots Ain't Cheap Card
Designed by Steph Ackerman

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here again using some fun stamps from Jimbo Lojik™.   I just happened across this pattern paper and knew it would work well with the boots stamp.

Supplies:

KellyCraft™- Get-It-Straight™ Laser Square & Multi Mat™
                     - Jimbo Lojik Stamp Set E
Bazzill cardstock
Imaginisce Pattern Paper
Clearsnap Archival Dye Ink - Wicked Black, Mudslide
May Arts ribbon
Directions:

Gather the supplies you will need.  Adhere the striped paper to the card base and put it aside while you create the rest of the card.

Using the Get-It- Straight™ Laser Square, stamp the phrase on pink cardstock with black ink.  Ink the edges with brown ink.

Next, use the Laser Square to line up the 3 layers of the card panel - pink cardstock, blue cardstock and boots paper.  Ink all layers with
brown ink and adhere together.

Wrap ribbon around the panel vertically
Assemble the card, then use the Laser Square to center the phrase on the card.  Use the magnets to
hold the card to the mat  while centering the phrase.  Place foam adhesives under the phrase for dimension.

Fussy cut 2 boots from the pattern paper and add them to the ribbon using a paper tagger.
I hope you've enjoyed this post.  Thanks so much for stopping by today.
