Getting Creative with the Ladies of the Robinson Family

The ladies of the Robertson family recently spent some time  together at the Robertson ranch in Calhoun, Louisiana, creating a variety of crafts with our KellyCraft™ Duck Commander® stamps and using the Get-it-Straight™ Laser Square and Multi-Mat™ to align their projects.

It looks like the ladies enjoyed their day and had fun using the stamps to preserve their memories on scrapbook pages, and created some great stamped home-decor pieces too.

Jessica Robertson used one of our Self-Inking Duck Commander® stamps to decorate her background paper.

Lisa Robertson discovered how easy it was to align her stamped images when using the Get-it-Straight™ Laser Square and Multi-Mat™.

Miss Kay Robertson decided to use the clear polymer Duck Commander® stamps to embellish her page while Jessica and Lisa opted for stamps from our Stakz stamps.

Korie Robertson got creative and embellished a wooden recipe box with a stamped image of her husband Willie.

One of our favorite projects the ladies created is this set of stamped burlap coasters!  What a clever use of the Duck Commander® wood mounted stamps to create a useful home-decor item, and they'd make a perfect gift too!

We think it's wonderful that the Robertson ladies spent their creative day using our Duck Commander® stamps!  Find the entire collection of the KellyCraft™ Duck Commander® stamps here on our website. Find our Get-it-Straight™ Laser Square and Multi-Mat™ here.

Work Hard, Nap Hard Layout by Kristina Beagle

Work Hard, Nap Hard Layout
Designed by Kristina Beagle

This photo of my brother cracks me up. After a long day at Disney® we went out to the car to eat some lunch and this is how he fell asleep. Hunched over in his own lap!
I created this layout my Get-it-Straight™ Laser Square! Here's How!

Supplies:

Get-it-Straight™ Laser Square & Multi-Mat™
Duck Commander® Clear Polymer Set 1
Pink Paisley Scrapbooking Kit
Hero Arts Black Dye Ink
Martha Stewart Small Footed Stamp Press

Scotch 3M Glue Glider Pro
Cutterpillar Pro
My Favorite Things: Stitched Scallop Die
Sizzix® Big Shot

Instructions:

1. Start with a solid color 12x12 cardstock for a base
2. I cut out a 3" and 2" strip of pattern paper which I cut diagonally, corner to corner
and adhered to the top and bottom of the page
3. Add a coordinating 6x6 paper, slightly off center, with the Get-it-Straight™ Laser
    Square
4. Add another layer piece, I created a scallop strip with some dies & coordinating
    cardstock
5. Finally, add your photo layer.

6. To start embellishing I first stamped my title. Use a grid lined stamp block and
the Get-it-Straight™ Laser Square to keep straight.  Then I added the "capture the moment" strip to      the photo.

7. Finish the page with assorted embellishments as desired.

Uncle Si, the "Warhol" Guy by Cindi Bisson

Uncle Si, the "Warhol" Guy

Designed by Cindi Bisson

I've been trying to think outside the box a bit more with my creative projects and I had a lot of fun creating this very simple "Andy Warhol" style Duck Commander® card!

The basic black and white background is the base for for shades of neon card stock stamped with the Uncle Si stamp in bright colored ink pads.  I punched the stamped images into squares and then assembled the card using the Get-it-Straight™ Laser Square to align all the elements.  I thought it needed a little extra something and decided this fun "HOW YOU?" from the Jimbo Lojik™ Set I stamp was the perfect accent!
