A Personality You Can't Handle Card by Martha Lucia Gomez

A Personality You Can't Handle Card
Designed by Martha Lucia Gomez

Hello everyone, Martha Lucia here to share with you a Joy Fold Card. I know this is an "oldie" but a "goodie" and if you use your Get-it-Straight™ Laser Square, it will be a great project.

Supplies:

  • KellyCraft™ Get-It-Straight™ Laser Square and Multi-Mat™
  • KellyCraft™ Jimbo Lojik™ Stamps - Set A
  • Prima Divine Stamp Set
  • Memento Tuxedo Black InK
  • Basic Black Cardstock
  • Island Indigo Cardstock
  • Whisper White Cardstock
  • Designer Series Paper
  • Copic Markers
  • Bone Folder
  • Simply Scored
  • Snail Adhesive
  • Baker's Twine Black & White
  • Button

Instructions:

Cut a piece of Basic Black cardstock of 4 1/4 x 11, score at 5 1/2 and 8 1/4 and fold into a ‘z’ with the fold at the bottom. Then cut a piece of designer paper of 4 x 2 1/2 and add it to the bottom panel
designer paper of 4 x 2 1/2 and add it to the bottom panel using your Get-it-Straight™ Laser Square.

Take a piece of Island Indigo cardstock of 3 x 8, score at 4 and fold. Then cut two pieces of Whisper White 2 7/8 x 3 7/8 each. Stamp your dancer image on one of these panels using the Memento Tuxedo Black Ink and color this using copic markers. Add the colored image to one of the flags of Island Indigo cardstock. Align it using the Get-it-Straight™ Laser Square.

Add this piece inside the card, align and paste. Stamp your
sentiment on the second piece of whisper white cardstock using the Jimbo Lojik Stamp Set A and paste inside of the card.

Now your card is almost done. To close it perfectly, you need to create something to keep the flag in place.  I used a button tied with baker's twine. I aligned my embellishment using the Get-it-Straight™ Laser Square too.

In this photo, you can read the funny message included on Jimbo Lojik Stamp Set A. I love these collections!
