KellyCraft Innovations Design Team Call

Design Team Call Deadline Extended!! 
Apply on or before March 3rd to be considered for our team!

Calling all Designers! KellyCraft Innovations is looking for a few GREAT Designers!  KellyCraft is committed to assisting the crafting community in promoting crafts of all types with the use of KellyCraft’s innovative tools and products.

The KellyCraft Design Team term begins March 7th, 2014 and ends on September 1st, 2014.

Design Team Perks:
  1. Free KellyCraft products to use for projects
  2. Additional supplies or materials from other companies for blog hops
  3. Additional engagement and support/promotion from KellyCraft’s social media profiles
  4. KellyCraft exclusive opportunities

As a KellyCraft Design Team member, you will be expected to:
  1. Submit a minimum of 1 project per deadline to be hosted on the KellyCraft blog.
  2. Provide clear and concise project instructions and supply lists (a template will be provided)
  3. Provide high res images of in-step processes and the completed work.
  4. Support KellyCraft projects and products through use of Social Media profiles (Twitter, Facebook, Pinterest, etc.)
  5. Produce one video during the term.

To be considered for a position on the KellyCraft Design Team, please send one entry with the following information to DT@KellyCraftInnovations.com:
  • Include 3-5 projects with direct links to them on your blog or 3-5 images of your completed work
  • Tell us about yourself in 200 words or less
  • Tell us what type of crafts like to create the most
  • Tell us what other Design Teams you are current a member of and what Design Teams (if any) you have been a member of in the past.
  • Social Media Stats and URLS:
    • Blog URL (along with any additional websites you may own)
      • Number of followers/subscribers on your blog (Blog Lovin’ followers is acceptable)
    • Twitter handle (if applicable)
      • Number of Twitter followers
    • Pinterest URL
      • Number of Pinterest Followers
    • Facebook page URL (if applicable
      • Number of “Likes” for your blog’s Facebook page
    • Any additional social media URLs and following including G+, Tumbler, Instragram, YouTube, etc.

A Place Called Home Card



Supplies

KellyCraft Get-it-Straight Laser Square

KellyCraft Multi Mat

Spellbinders Grand Caliber Machine

Spellbinders Nestabilities Die- Detailed Scallops

Heartfelt Creations Sun Kissed Fleur Swirls Stamp Set

Heartfelt Creations Burnished Key Hole Stamp Set

Clearsnap ColorBox Archival Inkpad- Very Berry

Prismacolor Color Pencils

Gamsol Mineral Spirits

Blending Stump

Beacon Adhesives Zip Dry Paper Glue

Foam Tape

Instructions

Gather all of your supplies. Cut your cardstock as follows. White
cardstock 4 1/2" x 6 1/2", Pattern paper 5" x 7", and Pink cardstock
5 1/2" x 7 1/2".

Run the white cardstock through the Grand Calibur machine
using the Nestabilities Detailed Scallops die following the
manufacturer's directions.

Stamp the flowers twice. Once on the die cut white cardstock
and once on a scrap piece of white cardstock with the "very berry"
inkpad. Stamp the saying on the scrap paper.

Color the images with color pencils and blend the colors with
the blending stump and Gamsol solution.

Cut the flowers out from the scrap piece of cardstock.


Cut out wording and layer it onto a scrap piece of cardstock.

Add foam tape to the back of the flowers.

Use the Get-it-Straight Laser Square to layer all the papers together.
Adhere layers with Zip Dry Paper Glue.



Apply foam tape to wording and adhere to
the card front.
