"Fear the Beard" Card

The new Duck Commander® stamps from KellyCraft™, are perfect for creating masculine cards. It seems I am always searching for stamps to make cards for the men in my life. These stamps are perfect for our family that loves Duck Dynasty® and the Robinson family. I created this Fear The Beard card for a friend who has been growing out his beard for a while now and it is perfect for No Shave November. Of course I used the the KellyCraft Get-It-Straight™ Laser Square and mat to line up all of the layers perfectly.

Materials:

KellyCraft - Get-It-Straight™ Laser Square
                  - Multi-Mat™
                  - Duck Commander® Clear Stamp Set 1
CTMH - Timberline Paper Pack – Close To My Heart
             - Chocolate Ink Pad
             - Solid cardstock, 1 sheet Chocolate, 1 sheet Bamboo
             - Durables Triangle Studs
Adhesive (Glue Dots, Pop Dots, Scotch ATG)












Instructions:

1. Cut a piece of Chocolate card stock at 5”x7” and one piece at 3.5”x4”. Cut the wood grain patterned paper at 6.75" x 4.75".  Cut
the hounds tooth patterned paper at 3.25”x3.75” and the bamboo cardstock at 3”x3.5”.  Next, sponge ink the edges of all pieces of paper with the Chocolate ink.

2. Use your Get-It-Straight™ Laser Square to stamp the images on the Bamboo Cardstock using Chocolate ink.











3. Use your Get-It-Straight™ Laser Square to align the mats to create layers.

4. Use your Get-It-Straight™ Laser Square to attach the center image using pop dots.



5. Using the Get-It-Straight™ Laser Square makes it easy to line up the Triangle Studs perfectly.

This card was so simple and easy to put together using the Duck Commander® Stamp Set and the  Get-It-Straight™ Laser Square.

Let Your Light Shine with KellyCraft Laser Square

I created this card using the KellyCraft Laser Square and Multi-Mat. I love how quick and easy it is to put cards together using the mat and square. These tools make it so easy to line everything up perfectly! 

1. Gather your supplies, cut the pieces and ink the edges to give it a distressed look. Begin layering the mats.

2. Layer the stamped image and then add it to the top of the card. 

2. Color the image to make the light appear to be illuminating. Add ribbon and sparkles to give it a finishing touch!

Princess Layout with KellyCraft Get-It-Straight Laser Square

I have been going through some older pictures of Kendall and ran across these pictures that where taken of her with her Build-A-Bear a few years ago. I hadn't scrapbooked them yet so I thought they would be perfect for the new Lollydoodle paper pack from Close To My Heart. I used my KellyCraft Laser Square and Multi-Mat to get everything lined up perfectly! 

1. Gather Your Supplies and cut the layout pieces as directed in the Imagine book. Begin by using the Laser Square and the Multi-Mat to layer the mats and add pictures to them. 

2. Using the Laser Square, begin putting the pieces of the layout together following the directions in the Imagine Book.

3. One of my favorite uses for the Laser Square is for stamping images using clear acrylic blocks. With the Laser Square, I can make sure the stamp is lined up perfectly the first time I stamp the image. (This has saved me so much time and paper!) 

4. Add your stamped title to the layout. 

5. What Princess layout would be complete without lots of sparkle and bling!

We were blessed with a new puppy and I wanted to create a two page layout of our little guy, Sherlock. He was meant to be a Christmas present for our son Jefferson, but he arrived a little late. None the less, the kids were thrilled to meet him and he has been a welcome addition to our family.

 1. First I gathered my supplies.

2. Next, I attached my photo mats using my laser square and multi-mat. 

3. Then, I attached the layout pieces using my multi-mat and laser square. (Have I mentioned lately how much I love these tools! :) 

4. I then added my mats to the layout. 

5. Using my laser square and mat, I attached my title. I think attaching the title is my favorite part of using the laser square. I always thought I could just eyeball it and now that I check it with my laser square and I am always off. :)

6. Now time for some pictures. It was hard to chose the pictures. He is such a photogenic little guy. 

7. Finally, I added a few embellishments to give it a more finished look. 

I love using my Laser-Square and Multi-Mat to create layouts. It takes all the guess work out and everything is lined up perfectly the first time!

Masculine Birthday Card

I am so excited about my new Multi-Mat from KellyCraft! It fits my Laser Square perfectly and I love that I can use it for stamping, cutting, measuring, etc. I couldn't wait to make a project using it! Since I live in a house with 5 guys and just 2 of us girls, it seems like I never have enough birthday cards for guys. So today I decided to make a masculine birthday card. This task proved to be challenging, since I tend to buy more "girlie" paper. I went with more neutral tones and I figured trees and wood grain were masculine.

1. First I gathered my supplies.

2. Next, I stamped all of my images on cardstock. Using the Laser Square with my acrylic blocks made it easy to get everything lined up perfectly.  

3. Then, I matted each of the stamped images using the Laser Square and the Multi-Mat to line up each of the mats.  

4. I started with a 6" x 6" card base and added several layers of cardstock and patterned papers in neutral tones.

5. Using my Laser Square and Multi-Mat, I began layering the stamped images.

6. I then added a stamped sentiment in the lower right hand corner of the card.

7. Finally, I added a few embellishments to give it a more finished look. 

I have loved how simple it is to line everything up using my KellyCraft Laser Square, and when you add in the Multi-Mat it makes it so easy to quickly make the perfect card everytime!
